Why should I spend the money on a paintball tank cover?

Two words should tell it all! “HYDRO TESTING!” If you’re not familiar with that concept this is how those two words mean paintball tank cover. When you purchase a paintball compressed air tank that’s fiber rapped for about $200, you would want to protect that investment for the following reasons. Compressed air tanks usually last for about 3-5 years. After the time passes and the tank is considered expired you have to send it in to get it Hydro Tested or buy a new one. In Hydro Testing they check the tank and see if it can still withstand high pressure. If it passes they will often renew its date for 1-3 years. But if it fails your tank will be sent back to you with a BIG hole in it L! So to guarantee that it passes, you should have a paintball tank cover so no scratches, dings or dongs end up on it. For that will result in a BIG hole, and remember we don’t want a BIG hole!
