Oil vs. Lube
Both paintball oil and
paintball lube are a way to lubricate your paintball marker (gun) and
all the moving parts in the paintball marker. Just not all paintball
markers use oil or lube. Most non electric mechanical paintball markers
use oil as a form of lubrication. For example, Tippmann’s, Spyder’s and
many more. One of the main reasons why paintball oil can’t be used on
electric, high end paintball markers is because they contain a lot of
o-rings. Oil will have the o-rings expand; therefore your paintball
marker will not seal correctly and will leak out air. Also no liquid can
go through the pneumatic solenoid (it’s a computer like piece that give
the command to let the air go to the bolt, to push it forward and back
so the paintball marker will fire) .One in not necessarily better that
the other. It just depends on what the paintball marker requires for it
to work smoothly.
